What's the future of retail?

Five years ago the general thought was that we were going to lose our high street shops, but in a recent Forbes article by J.J. Colao he writes "it turns out that customers buy way more stuff if they can actually see, feel and try on items in person".

Whilst it is exciting that the importance of a store has been recognised, Timpanys is also aware that customers are expecting more from a store experience. It is not enough to have a few rails and a good smile. That is why this year we are excited to be involved in lots of different events. The first of the year will be our fashion and food event, we will also be taking a snap shot of our store country wide with various pop ups around the country and later in the year hosting make up classes. We want to be a social hub not just a sleepy store.
