Net-a-NoMore

Natalie Massenet's CV reads like a dream. She has had multiple roles of which one would be enough to floor the guest next to you at dinner. She started out at Women's Wear Daily, worked with Isabella Blow at Tatler, then started her own business (just the little known Net-a-Porter) from her Chelsea bolt hole and is now Chair of the British Fashion council.
Despite only last month saying that she would be staying on at Net-a-Porter after its takeover by Yoox she has now decided to resign. Analysts described her new duty as being more of a "group ambassador" rather than actually comprising of direct responsibilities. Having grown her N-a-P baby from nothing to International I am sure that the prospect of a diminished role did not fill her with excitement.
However very excitingly for us she is quoted as saying her entrepreneurial drive is as strong today as it has always been. It is always inspiring to see strong, entrepreneurial women take the world by storm and I for one will follow her next moves with great interest.
