Notes for my video:
Accessories & shoes

Jewellery seems to be playing a bigger and bigger role. With earrings taking priority. Just when you thought your earlobes couldn’t take ANY MORE! Getting bigger and bigger. Needs to translate practically to wearing every day. Statement earrings as seen at Altuzurra, Saint Laurent, Versace, Zadig & Voltaire. Tom Ford

Single and mismatched earrings - were seen for the fashion confident - and those are not too OCD! Oscar de la renta, Roksanda

Circles were a continued theme into jewellery as well. Isabel Marant, Balenciaga, Fendi,

Beyond hoops and on to brooches and necklaces as well.

Earrings / gold and big chains were my biggest takeaway. As seen at Chloe

Cuff bracelets were seen across quite a few catwalks as well - these are easy to wear and I think will catch on nicely this winter. As seen at Chloe McQueen / Giambatista Valli.

Usually as soon as fashion pushes it to the absolute limits it does a complete 180 and goes back to a more understated style. So I would predict that these large earings may stay around for a few more seasons and then it will revert back to dainiter jewels as seen coming out already on some of the catwalks:

Shoes

Firstly Trainers - have been around for many seasons and are still here. The perfect balance between trend and practical they are an easy piece to invest in. Couple with the acceptability of wearing them around all day now. This season they are especially thick-soled ones. As seen in Balenciaga’s Triple S and Louis Vuitton’s Archlight - these are being imitated on the high street now as well. Something that I find it hard to get into but by the end of the season no doubt I will love them. You’ll find chunky but slightly simpler white styles like Stella McCartney’s on the runway for next season too. Also seen at Balenciaga / Gucci /Clunky huge ugly trainers - currently hate them - i’ll love them by the time they go out of fashion next year! The S at Louis Vuitton but Gucci also ramping up the ugly game.

Animal print and texture in the form of skins spread from the clothes and accessories on to the shoes - as seen at Tom Ford / Dries Van Noten / Rochas snakeskin boots

The cowboy boot is threatening to come back. I wasn’t a massive fan of this the first time around but it has been moderanised and refreshed. Let me know what you think about this one and how you would wear it to keep it up to date? as seen at Isabel Marant / Armani / Dolce & Gabanna / Philopshy

There was also a lot of white heels going down the runway. Not your most obvious in winter but they were seen in various styles at: Tibi / Isabel Marant / Givenchy / Saint Laurent.

Gloves: Chic and practical for winter. I love a glove and they look great worn long over the elbow when paired with a shorted sleeved knit. Gloves were seen across the catwalks at: Maxmara & Chanel. Looking in store I can’t quite get over how cute some of the Chanel fingerless options are surely the most opulent but also practical

And the trend for logo accessories was also reasonably strong. Bracelets at Dior, Fendi boots. Wild Card: Alexander Wang tights.
