In contrast to the Hermès Birkin which had a much lower single digit percentage increase in January. The conversations online seem to be provoking more outrage than normal.

I love the term “Birkin Premium” the price that a Birkin bag has been for so many years over and above that of any other bag in the market. Interestingly the highest demand we are currently seeing at Sign of the Times is for the Hermès Kelly. In my assessment, Hermès strikes the price rising balance with finesse, while others risk eroding long-term patronage. Either way continuously increasing new prices, paves the way for a very buoyant second hand market so I am happy!
