One of the newest trends to take place this coming season is sequins! We take a look at this trend.

Sequins are back! Balenciaga, Gucci and Dior all sent sequin clad models down the runway at their autumn/winter 2016 shows. But the question is- are we really ready to ditch the athleisure and dazzle from head to toe?

Eye-catching/ instagram-worthy outfits are the talk of the season. Pushing the norm off the agenda and pulling sparkle into the spotlight. All in perfect time for the release of the new ab-fab film. (Kate Moss sports a fabulous green sequin gown)

-Exploit the proportions, some sequin dresses can be suprisingly forgiving- they could even be worn with a pair of jeans underneath to channel your inner Lily Aldrige.

-Stop playing it safe! Ditch the staples- it pays to look like you've had fun dressing up. Particlarly when your dress lights up the room-literally.

-Be brave, you won't regret it- you'll be sparkling!- and who doesn't want to sparkle?
