Assistant Sales & Operations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fabulous, hard-working team in our Assistant Sales Operations Manager role. You will be a central cog in the SOTT machine working from both our Chelsea store and Battersea Studio overseeing everything with a keen and critical eye. We are looking for someone who likes to "get stuck in" with every aspect of a business. An entrepreneurial and warm people person who is sales-driven. Someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves problem solving and process. You must be an excellent communicator, and have at least 5 years of previous relevant experience to join our amazing team. Someone with a good knowledge of luxury designer brands and "hot product" is preffered. Trading both in store and online to our global client base it’s a busy and fun working environment.

THE ROLE

You will be in charge of ensuring we sell as much stock through the business as possible.

From driving in product to getting it sold and analysing every process that this involves.

You will be a key force in overseeing our logistics and keeping the studio and stock room meticulously organised.

You will line manage our Ecommerce Operations team who pick and pack orders and our Data Entry team.

You will have regular meetings with all the major stakeholders in the business and have a clear path of progression within the company.

You will also do any reporting, forecasting and targets for the store with the support of the Store Manager and CEO.

This role will also be customer facing so it's important to still have a selling mentality with the ability to build your own portfolio of VIP clients as you will be required to cover the store manager on Saturdays (and potentially during holiday periods).

REQUIREMENTS

5+ Years in Retail Management

Great knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, ecommerce, customer service and employee management

Great with numbers, reporting, data & process

Direct and clear communicator

Excellent organiser, leader and motivator

Loves a fast paced environment, calm under stress with fantastic problem solving ability

Great people skills with a focus on going over & above for clients

Proven sales track record

Experience in ecommerce logisitics is a bonus

A desire to remain and grow with the company

A good understanding of current trends and luxury brands

Physically fit with a good sense of humour
